Our Process

  1. Free Evaluation: Our certified repair process for Fein screwdrivers and other assembly tools begins with a free evaluation. We disassemble the tool in a clean and contaminant-free environment, inspecting and photographing the tool for documentation.
  2. Failure Analysis Report: After the inspection, we’ll send you a Failure Analysis Report detailing any issues found and their potential causes, along with a repair timeline and a no-obligation quote.
  3. Repairs Begin: Once the quote is accepted, we’ll assign a factory-trained technician best suited for the repairs needed. We always use OEM-compliant methods and parts, and all repairs are performed in-house in our U.S.-based facility.
  4. Testing & Quality Control: After repairs, we’ll inspect your Fein assembly tool(s) to ensure it meets OEM specifications.
  5. Final Report: When testing is completed, we’ll ship your tool back to you with a comprehensive report detailing all repairs, replaced components, and test results.

We ensure your plant remains compliant and audit-ready by using precision indicators and transducers and always providing comprehensive reports for your records. We also offer on-site calibrations to help reduce costly downtime.

Tool Management

We are committed to helping our customers maintain preparedness for future audits through our tool management program. In this program, an Encore representative evaluates your inventory and its needs, along with the expected lifespan of your existing Fein tools.
